Chapter 3 - "poison ivy"
He got there in no time and saw that dragons had already scented him. There it was the big patch of Poison Ivy. It was on the island that there was an entrance to underwater. Being a goblin Kolom could breathe underwater. He dived into the water. It was shinning and cold. So very cold. There were fish everywhere covering his body. It was almost as if they were chanting and helping him.
He reached the entrance and came up in a pond that was a sacred to the dragons. He got to the poison ivy patch and squeezed it out. Into a glass that he had. He went back to the pool and it was dark the worst time to travel when dragons are around but he will have the fish to help. When he came out into the lake there wasn’t any fish so the dragons spotted him at once. Kolom dove deep but the talons almost touched his back. He made it to shore but the dragons were determined. He ran all the way home and made it inside with only a scratch or two. When he got in Mermia was drawing at the dinner table. “Ok… what do… I do… with… it?” Kolom said between breaths. “You drink it. Duh.” Mermai said. She seemed not to notice that the dragons were screaming and clawing at the roof. Kolom got out the glass and drank it without question. He felt no different. Mermia looked up from her drawing and and said, “ Are you having some dragon problems? Well, to get them off your back you must fetch some bloodly baby dragon ears. With their own blood.” Kolom knew that there were tons of baby dragons at the base of the mountains. He got his bow and arrow and sword and set off. next >>>
