I am Dolly the Monkey. I live in the place called Alpine Zoo. It is in small town of Alpine Village. My owner is eight and her name is Emily. Her teenage sister, Mary, helps in the Zoo.
I was waiting for my breakfast one morning when I heard a scream coming from the main office. I looked over and saw a man with dark brown hair. He was caring a big bag with him. He put into the back of his blue truck that had a white stripe and the bottom. Then, he drove away.
I saw Mary come out of the office and she came to me.
She gave me my breakfast and then said," Dolly I hope they catch that man." Then, she just walked to the main office to call the police.
Emily came to my cage when the police were questioning Mary. I wrote down what I had seen. She read the note and ran off to the police. They read the note and came to my cage.
The police asked my question and I answered with my pen and paper. I climbed higher into the tree to look at the parking lot. There it was the blue truck with a white stripe and the bottom! I wrote it down and gave the paper to the police. They went and found the truck and sure enough the bag was still in there. There was still a question in my mind, "Who stole it?" next >>>
